Regional Sales Executive: Online Interactive Marketplace

Saint Paul CityGuide is ready to expand its online interactive marketplace into the St. Paul, St. Cloud, Duluth, Mankato, and Brainerd areas. Saint Paul CityGuide is looking for 4-5 high energy individuals who recognize the rewards of building from the ground up, to develop relationships with local community leaders and business professionals. Our systems and success will transfer directly, as you develop a new CityGuide for your own community.

Since 1996, Saint Paul CityGuide has developed into the only online marketplace for the city of Saint Paul and the East Metro area. Online at www.saint-paul.com, CityGuide offers both consumers and businesses interactive functions, such as internet coupons, listings of area hotspots, restaurant guides, lodging alternatives, and local events calendars.

Alongside the interactive options, CityGuide also partners directly with local organizations such as the Minnesota Thunder, the James J. Hill Reference Library, the Science Museum of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Regional Sales Executive will direct new business prospecting, cultivate new sponsor relationships, maintain current client satisfaction, create vendor interest, and market your specific CityGuide to your community. Promotional materials, technical support, and billing functions will be provided through the main office in Saint Paul.

A laptop computer and digital camera will be important tools for you to have.

This position is ideal for a truly entrepreneurial person with 1-3 years of sales experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred with emphasis in marketing, communications, business, advertising, or similar areas. Current students pursuing these degrees and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Regional Sales Executives will report to the Director of Marketing and Sales in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Compensation is limited only by your energy and creativity. Our advertising programs offer various methods for purchase and numerous levels of participation for your clients.
